1991 Establishment of the Company
AKTIVIT was founded as a Czech company focusing on industrial automation and mechanical engineering. From day one, we built on our own knowledge and the expertise of the people who make up the company.
1992 ŠKODA AUTO
Linking the production line at ŠKODA AUTO Mladá Boleslav was one of our first major orders. Cooperation with the automotive industry became a natural direction for further development.
1994 PRO/Engineer Design Software
The deployment of professional 3D design software PRO/Engineer enabled more precise and faster equipment development. The investment in tools was reflected in the quality of the results right from the start.
1995 In-house Machine Development
We developed our first washing machine for degreasing parts after machining and the first gantry workpiece loader. Our own design capacity gives us the freedom to create fully customized solutions for our customers.
1998 A Strong Year
Several important milestones at once: a quality award from ŠKODA AUTO, the implementation of ePlan design software, our first manipulator for passenger car assembly, and our first complete assembly line.
1999 ISO 9001 Certification
We obtained the ISO 9001 quality management system certification. Quality and responsibility are part of every step — certification merely confirmed it.
2002 Sinumerik 840D
Automation using the Sinumerik 840D control system expanded the capabilities of our machining and production applications. We follow technological development and implement what truly delivers results.
2003 Compatibility with Catia
We ensured compatibility with Catia design software. Adapting to our customers' tools is a natural part of how we collaborate with them.
2004 More Demanding Projects
The portfolio expanded to include technically more complex assemblies:
- ●Automatic handling of parts weighing 400 kg
- ●Two-axis 3D gantry loader with a 30 m travel track
- ●Deployment of remote access to delivered equipment
- ●First inline fractal line with electronic synchronization
- ●Single-purpose machine for packaging technology
2005 RFID and Traceability
We supplied an ABS test station, the first assembly line with RFID and traceability, and the first ball joint assembly line. Production traceability became part of our standard offering.
2006 Laser Technologies
We introduced our first laser welding equipment and laser marking, and developed our own high-pressure washing machine. Production also gained a 3D robot with positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm.
2007 Portfolio Expansion
The year brought a number of new technologies and certifications:
- ●ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification
- ●Deployment of ABB, KUKA, and Mitsubishi robots on assembly lines
- ●Windchill engineering data management system
- ●First forming machines for plastics processing
- ●Machine vision systems for assembly applications
- ●Measurement station with a resolution of 0.5 micrometers
2008 Over 100 People and 200 Million
The company exceeded the threshold of 100 employees and a turnover of 200 million CZK. We implemented the Helios Orange information system, which interconnected company processes from design to shipping.
2009 Ultrasonic Welding and Data Collection
We commissioned the first ultrasonic welding station and developed our own data collection system for large assembly lines. Manufacturing digitalization became a natural part of our solutions.
2010 Airbag Assembly
We delivered our first production line for airbag assembly. Working with safety-critical components requires maximum precision and thoroughness — these are the values with which we approach our work.
2011 Large-Scale Handling Systems
We implemented a set of 3D manipulators with a travel track exceeding 45 meters. Larger and technically more demanding projects are an area where our experience is fully utilized.
2012 Laser Welding of Plastics
We expanded our portfolio with equipment for laser welding of plastics. This non-contact welding method opens up possibilities where conventional approaches fall short or are unsuitable.
2013 Top Rating from Dun & Bradstreet
We received a Top Rating from the independent agency Dun & Bradstreet. Financial stability and trustworthiness are just as important to us as the technical quality of the equipment we supply.
2014 Tenth Creo and Windchill License
We operate the tenth license of the Creo and Windchill design software. Growing design capacity is directly reflected in the scope and complexity of the orders we handle.
2015 New Assembly Hall
We opened a new assembly hall. Larger space means capacity for more extensive projects and better working conditions for the whole team.
2018 140 Employees
The company employs 140 specialists with a business performance of over 400 million CZK. Over 27 years, we have grown from a small Czech company into a reliable partner in industrial automation for customers across Europe.
